About Dr. Roz Kamani

Dr Rozmin Kamani is the founder of Kitsilano Medical Aesthetics. Passionate about understanding the balance of Health & Beauty of her patients, she draws her inspiration from her unique experiences and knowledge coming from a cosmopolitan background, spanning from East Africa to Canada. She has remained at the forefront of her field, actively training while participating in many organizations that impact the local community. This and the appreciation of diverse cultures and expressions of beauty have distinguished her as a skilled practitioner.

Dr Kamani has built her practice over two decades on a platform of happiness, kindness, and compassion. She ensures that patients feel heard. An approach that is evidence based and which combines her own artistry as a skilled injector and many years of hands-on experience, she creates incredible results. Our approach is through a holistic and individualized lens to deliver natural looking outcomes. Dr Kamani has completed specialized preceptorships including training through Allergan academy (MD codes with Dr Mauricio De Maio) training with Dr Arthur Swift, CAAM courses and more.

She is a Clinical Associate Professor at UBC and has long been recognised for her leadership and insight. She has been a voice in local and national media and was honoured as a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Medicine for contributions in leadership and education in hospital, medical and public realms.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kamani is an advocate for women’s health and women in medicine. She was the Past President of FMWC. Her contributions towards Women in Institutional Leadership have been recognized in her community. She has pioneered programs dedicated to the health and wellness of the elderly and remained at the forefront of her field, actively training while participating in many organizations that impact the local community.

She has been a mentor, a writer, and a mother who passionately believes in Mental Health and building bridges of communication between the medical community and the greater public.

At Kitsilano Medical Aesthetics in Vancouver BC, Dr Kamani and her cosmetic patients enjoy a relationship which also draws from her experiences as a family physician. Carmen assists Dr. Roz Kamani at Kitsilano Medical Aesthetics in Vancouver, ensuring each client’s visit is a comfortable and pleasant experience. She is responsible for coordinating appointments and office flow. 

Her extensive experience in Office Management and Administration plays a vital role in preparing patients for procedures, maintaining important medical records, billing and more. Carmen is a welcome addition to the team with her sunny personality which lends itself to a great customer service experience.
